Dear Lads and Lassies;

Deeply sorrowed at The Great Badger unsubscribing.

His wit was a bright and shining MG Moment, whenever he appeared on our
internet.
Say it isn't so Derek.
I have known you since the first GOF in NH, when we were skinny young
dreamers. 'Tis the end of an era.
Tally Ho!

Well, I'm still here Thom. I'm not going anywhere. Just trying to cut down on wear and tear on my email delete button. I do still have pictures someplace of that first GOF up there in damp NH and I have a very vague memory of being a "skinny young kid" but, alas, that was long ago and far away. Everything changes.Cheers, Badger

At this point the body has been completely rebuilt including the wood. The
body is awaiting primer and paint ( probably Mazda Melano Red) The
drivetrain including engine, transmission, shocks, steering rack and rear-end are
finished. The body and drivetrain are in different locations however. I
cleaned, sandblasted, primed and painted the frame and primed 4 wheels.
Most if not all chrome bits are in my garage. So at his point I am looking
for 2 19 wheels as the cost for new wheels ( at Moss) is a little steep. I
am also in the process of trying to finish the dashboard.

Hi Peter and other T-ABC members,
I have 19" rolled rim center and outer laced good used wire wheels for sale
to suit the TC and TA/TB as well as MMM cars @ $100.00 each.
You choose, you clean and paint. Prefer local pick-up as shipping is a pain.
However, if necessary, shipping at cost.
I am in Mississauga, just west of Toronto , Ontario.
Please email or phone direct without disturbing all the T-ABC members again.
Thanks, Bob

I purchased the car in 1995 from an individual who bought it about 1960.
He disassembled the entire care and had plans to restore it. When I
bought the car, it was in boxes and bags, having been disassembled for 35 years.
With a lot of help from Keith Anderson, an MG enthusiast, the local
British Motoring Club and from Mike Lewis of the (original) Mardi Gras Ts in
New Orleans, we got the car back in great shape.

(John has sent a photo of his car, which will be posted in the Gallery)

Dave Sarley joined the T-ABC December 8, 2007. At the time, he did not
own a T car, BUT today he wrote:

I have been a member since this email below and yesterday, finally was able
to purchase a 1947 TC. Chassis TC 2820. Production records indicate the
car was built 20 May 1947 and first commissioned 2nd June 1947. The original
engine, XPAG 3432 was replaced in 1969 with a Gold Seal engine, #C70492.
The TC was purchased and imported to the US in 1972 by David Millar, Jr.
(the original Marlboro Man) of Meriden, NH. In 1974 Millar sold the TC to
Chandler Perkins of New London, NH. The car was restored over a four year
period from 1979 to 1983. The comes to me with a package of information
including a number of receipts for work done in the Manchester, UK at Archway
Engineering, Ltd. Also included was the cars Vehicles (Excise) Act, 1962,
Registration Book dating from 1964 through 1972

Sooooooooooooo CONGRATUALTIONS DAVE
