TC Brass Core Plugs

Hi Listers, Can anyone tell me the correct imperial diameters of each Core Plug for the TC. Thankyou. Mike Bate. TC10200 - Sunny day - Cornwall UK

Well no, they are metric, six 35 mm, two 48 mm and one 45 mm for the rear camshaft. The XPAG is a metric engine.

Mike, To specifically answer your question:35mm = mol 1.3770 = 1-3/8" 45 mm = 1.7716" = 1-3/4" +48 mm = 1.889" = 1-7/8" + Best to OEM metric sizes. BillTC 4926 Sent from my iPad

Be CAREFULL, do NOT use Imperial size core plugs , as even the slight Imperial undersizes indicated are TOO Small TO SEAL PROPERLY on an XPAG engine. Use the correct size metric plugs to get the proper seal during flattening and expansion.

hi Mike - I might have a few brass core plugs left, but need to re-stock anyway. Do you need a whole set? RogerTC0978, just over the border in sunny, but cold, Devon!
