Bill, if you are referring to the right hand side just in front of the regulator, it is the front mounting hole for the old style larger regulator. Its on all TCs, not just EXUs Regards, Charles Hill

Bill, the only holes on the left side are for the EXU horn bracket, the various ID plates and the (Positive) ground cable for the battery. Outside of the horn mount, no difference from any other export TC. Home model TCs will not have holes for the "Made in England" plate. Regards, Charles Hill

Charles, where is the ground cable relative to the EXU horn bracket? Thanks Mike

So.. the hole, which is between the horn mount holes and the ID plates is for the battery ground strap? bt
