Hi, Troops-
What is the general consensus re: body felt inbetween the inner fenders and the body irons?
I found some synthetic felt that is identical in size to my disengrated original, but things seem too tight to fit. This stuff is easily compressable, but is 3/16" thick. Too thick? Any other suggested materials?
Thanks and Regards,

Mark,
Since I could not find the felt stuff when I need it I used rubberized
cork gasket material. It does not absorb water as felt does, lasts
practically forever, and is available at good parts houses in various
thicknesses. If necessary, it can be painted or "magic-markered" to hide its
tannish color.
