Hi guys,
A question for the true gear heads amongst us; Does anyone know the NGK,
ND, Champion, Autolite, Bosch equivalent of a PAL Super 14-5-RZ 9
(Czechoslovakian) spark plug? I can't find the plug, the company or the
motorcycle manufacturer (Pannonia) anywhere on the net............well,
I've found the Pannonia name on several websites, but no info. the NGK and
ND websites were of no help...and the European NGK site is far beyond what
little German I remember from school. My phalanges are googled out!!
I'm guessing the 14 is for 14mm; it looks to be a 3/8" reach with the heat
range of 5 or RZ? These obscure Soviet era bikes are really entertaining
to try and figure out.
As some of you Julian Tech vets may remember the funky 2 stroke and
sidehack combo in my shop.......we're trying to get it up and running
before the middle of May. All kinds of extra parts and a spare
engine.................but one crummy, clapped out 1972 PAL spark plug.
The motor is a 250cc 2-stroke; maybe an NGK B7HC or B8H????
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

dude, why don't you just get a plug which just looks like it, and
then
try it out on the bike?
things to make sure, thread are same size.
and if the original plug has a resistor inside or not?
plug is hot or cold type?
check out plug sites to see if its cold or hot.
as for the exact heat rating, you can go by trial and error.
start with the hotter plug first, if that doesnt fire as good , go
colder.
trying to find a plug from a company that i doubt exists anymore is
difficult if not immposible
just my 2 cents
