1st trip
Hi Everybody,
I'm a first-time poster, long-time lurker, and a new owner of an '06
(red). I live in the southern california (Wildomar) area. I have
about 700 miles on my bike so far and since I have next week off,
would like to take a short trip to initiate myself and my KLR. Any
suggestions on a (2-3 day) camping trip? Any suggestions/advice would
be much appreciated...

Change your balancer lever (dohickey), get your valve clearance checked. Change your oil if you haven't already done so. Make sure your tires are properly inflated. Enjoy.

Where is that? Sounds fun. Is it cold? I wish there were more cold weather
riders here in Louisiana. It is a rarity when the land ices here. With the
right gear it's great riding weather.

Doo Fiddly. I will have to absorb this for awhile. With the right head
phones this could be a life changing experience.
