Robert,
Change it to a different dealer than all of those I have had dealings
with, OK?

How many times have I heard from others here, "my
mechanic said"the valves don't need adjusting until at least 10K",
"don't need adjusting at first service", etc. Oh, that's right, they
KNOW better than I do. (in spite of the fact that ALL the times I've
helped do valve adjustments after the owner was told that, and the
valves NEEDED adjustment). The swingarm and linkage bearings and
shafts are always properly lubed, too (see Paul Streeter's post). The
balancer system never has a problem. The safety switches on the clutch
and kickstand never cause a problem either, do they.

As I said before, good luck! (sincerely)
All the best,
Mike
