You are half right, my bike has never been muddy. I do however go out of my way to find dirt or gravel roads.

clutch not fully disengaging?
Yesterday I went to move my KLR by pushing it and discovered the clutch doesn't seem to be fully disengaging-- don't remember it ever doing this.
Anyone here encounter this before?
Doing an in-gear/clutch-in startup causes the bike to crawl forward. Once running, however, the clutch seems to properly disengage and idle w/o dragging me across the driveway and into the side of my house. But then I shut it down, release & squeeze the clutch several times, and try to push the bike in gear (lever fully in) and it's like the clutch is 50% engaged.
Shifting up & down thru the gears while riding seems completely normal. The clutch lever is adjusted, allowing ample travel. Oil is Mobil1 5w-40, 500 miles old. Bike has 11k miles, first 9k miles history unknown. Symptoms present on warm and cold engine.
Thoughts?
