Not sure I see the relavance, but me personally I'm one for holding
dog owners accountable for whatever their dogs do as if it was they
themsleves doing it. I'm not for disallowing any specific breed.
But I think if a pitbull attacks someone the owner should be tried
for assult, or manslaughter as the case may be.

Okay but if Harley is "none of the time," how far down on the list is
KLR650? More to the point put it this way: if you wanted to be looked
at as a primary goal, would you buy a KLR or a Harley? Sure, you'd get
the chick in the Ferrari first...but Mike let's face it, before you get
anything you have to have the means first. 
I'm sure some of the
quiet-pipe guys could get the Ferrari.

Well I mean, you are trying to be so...but in reality I don't think
you are far from my position based on what you say. My point
was...if you want to be looked at because you have a big ego, you
don't go buy a KLR650. You buy an MV Augusta F4 (or whatever
else...but not a KLR650).
I would look at the MV on the way by. I don't live far from Fast by
Ferraci (North East importer for MV, Ducati, others) and I'm up there
all the time. I wouldn't mind having a Brutale Serie Oro myself some
day. Also looked at a Multistrada before my KLR. Mainly I picked
the KLR as I'm increasing my ride time on the road with this bike
purchase and wanted not to worry about dropping $12k+ on the tarmac
while I get some miles under my belt.

Oh I'd be real suprized if there wasn't a whole list of stuff quite-
exhaust guys wish the world wouldn't do. Me, as long as I can get 8
hours of sleep at night and no one is causing me physical pain or
heath problems by what they are doing, I tend to live and let live.
I'm bothered all the time by what people do, but the minute I try to
control them based on what I want...I realize it gives them the
morale justification to start controlling every little thing I do.
If you want to be free, you have to let others be free in my
opinion. One man's freedom is another man's pain in the ***. What
kind of world do we want to live in really?
So what's been your finding so far between the earlier thread and
this one? Any conclusions?
