And it only took a whole week for one person to answer with
something....wow. I guess if I wanted to know about valve core guts and
torque, I would've been in nervana.

I broke mine twice. If you ride two up, or do hardcore off-road riding,
they WILL break.

I weigh a fair amount more than you do and although my bolts still
looked alright they were no longer at the correct torque level when I
replaced them.
They're cheap. Why not replace them? I just used the higher quality
bolts , not the through the frame kit.

I have heard the KLR250 does not suffer the doohickey problem.Although it
does have a chain driven counterbalancer, the chain is way shorter with a
less complicated routing, that this has not been a problem.
