It seems like some people on the list are interested in buying right now. I just talked to Darren at the Cycle Barn. He has 5 "world units" (bikes with kph speedometers) on the floor right now, and said the sale price for them is $4499. I asked about other fees, and he said that freight, assembly, and prep would probably cost in the "mid hundreds". Hm, sounds like something a politician would say. As far as I know, this is without the Kawi warranty but with a Cycle Barn warranty. Anyway, if you're in Seattle and don't want to trek up to Vancouver, BC, this is probably a pretty good deal. I imagine you could easily get him down to the $4000 that listers were talking about, but you'll still pay the "mid hundreds" fee for prep. For what they wanted for the 02 before tax, was only $78 less than I paid for my 03 before tax!
