It seems like some people on the list are interested in buying right now. I just talked to Darren at the Cycle Barn. He has 5 "world units" (bikes with kph speedometers) on the floor right now, and said the sale price for them is $4499. I asked about other fees, and he said that freight, assembly, and prep would probably cost in the "mid hundreds". Hm, sounds like something a politician would say. As far as I know, this is without the Kawi warranty but with a Cycle Barn warranty. Anyway, if you're in Seattle and don't want to trek up to Vancouver, BC, this is probably a pretty good deal. I imagine you could easily get him down to the $4000 that listers were talking about, but you'll still pay the "mid hundreds" fee for prep. If you go to Vancouver you'll get the bike for $4000 with the Kawi warranty. -Todd __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. $4499? Try $3999: http://adcache.cycletrader.com/5/0/4/30134604.htm Here's what I would do: get a firm commitment on the additional prices at the stated price of $4499, incl. tax, transport, prep, etc. Then call back, reference the add, and save $500..... This is in theory of course. Good luck! And if you get it today, you can ride with us tomorrow near Fife.... -Greg

All, Earlier in the year, I asked them about this $3999 KLR. Check out the following. They are overcharging for freight and shipping. For what they wanted for the 02 before tax, was only $78 less than I paid for my 03 before tax! Their 02 = $3995 + 495 Freight and Shipping = $4490 Kawasaki City 03 in Irving, Texas = $4399 + $169 Freight and Assembly = $4568 The following is their e-mail. Hi, Jim, Thanks for the email. The KLR650 is $3,999 plus $495 F&S. Sales tax and license fees would be paid by you in your state at the applicable rate. Regarding shipping, it's based on your zip code. Since Texas is such a big state, it might vary depending on where you are in Texas. Can you please email me your zip code? Then I can get you an accurate shipping quote. How soon were you looking to buy? Are you a cash buyer or would you want to finance it? Thanks again, Jim, I look forward to hearing from you. For the Same Motorcycle! Imagine!!! $78 less than a identical newer one. These Dirty Capitalists are probably trying to earn a little money. Shame on Them!!!!! Is Everyone driven by pure Greed? Let's try not to let the Boy Scout Troop find out about this. They may have forgotten about the CD-seller and be on the lookout for a new victim.

No dents, one trip to Mexico, excellent condition. The mounting of the boxes to the racks requires a few hours and, in my mind is a plus. Includes SU racks, turn signal tabs, luggage racks (2), and the special "Canyon Cut." http://tinyurl.com/4ce2 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2400109129 Kurt Simpson Salt Lake City [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
