what are a few good ways to clean my spokes? I was thinking about fine steel wool or a brillo pad. Do any of you have any other suggestions? David Beyea A15 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? LAUNCH - Your Yahoo! Music Experience http://launch.yahoo.com

The stock spokes are plated, steel wool or brillo will remove the plating and allow them to rust. S100 and a pressure washer works well. Devon David Beyea wrote:

David, Honda spray cleaner/polish cleans up oily and road-grime covered spokes with spray-on wipe-off ease. No rubbing, no scrubbing, no hose-off. It is the fastest and most effective cleaner for wheels, especially the rear, I have tried. -- Marc, KLR650 A12

Why clean your KLR it will lose its character!! But if you must try Gunk engine cleaner I used it on other bikes I see no reason why you can't on the KLR

Try a mesh-covered sponge (the open kind, that you can see the sponge through the mesh) and your favorite cleaner. Jay in PA A15
