It seems to me that a regular bicycle plus one of those little lightweight gasoline motors that attaches to the bicycle's frame above the rear wheel and can drive the rear wheel would be an equally effective solution, more than 10-fold less expensive, and could readily use existing technology.

The top speed is 12 mph and the battery is supposed to last 17
miles. I'm far from being in perfect physical condition but I can
ride a bicycle 17 miles at 12 mph. Even a little further. 12 mph
is slow pace on a bike. It's for those of us who need a motorized
cart to shop, and, or, those of us who have the money for expensive
novelties. Sudo training wheels for the balance impaired. Some
might say it's just another invention to make our society a bit
fatter. It's certainly not revolutionary by any means.

On the Taureg Rallye Jacket

That was actually my first thought when I got wet. It still doesn't help though because for my hot-blooded nature, if it's cold enough to want the liner, it ain't gonna be rain falling from the clouds!!! Oh wll, we'll see what happens when they get my jacket and letter. dat brooklyn bum ______________________________________________________________________________ Send a friend your Buddy Card and stay in contact always with Excite Messenger http://messenger.excite.com
