footpegs

It's been a wet winter here in Tucson this year and one of the more positive outcomes is the opportunity to do stream crossings in what is often a dry desert. (The wild flowers are another and the pollens' effect on those with allergies a negative.) Anyway, I received in the mail today a pair of IMS all-metal footpegs for my KLR and will be installing next. I've been having occasional problems with wet boots slipping on wet rubber of the OEM rubber pegs. Of course, I expect then I'll feel a bit more vibration when on the road. The BMW GS's have removable rubber pieces on theirs and you can pop them in and out as desired. jlabate

I have been told by some with the IMS footpegs that they actually feel less vibration with these pegs. : ----- Original Message ----- From: Joseph Labate To: DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sunday, March 25, 2001 12:15 AM Subject: [DSN_klr650] footpegs It's been a wet winter here in Tucson this year and one of the more positive outcomes is the opportunity to do stream crossings in what is often a dry desert.
