preload on progressive420

Post by Mike Tolar » Thu Apr 08, 2004 11:14 pm

Any big guys out there install a 420 shock? If so how was the "ballpark" preload setting on the shock as it came from Progressive. I'm about 250lbs. I would rather dial in the additional preload before I install the shock than fight with the little adjusting tool after. Mike

No, no automatic off switch. It'll run until you waterlog it, runs out of gas, it seizes from lack of oil or you shut it off. Just one of the marvelous safety features to prevent Kawasaki mechanics from taking it for rides. Did his feet manage to get caught in the chain too?!!? millerized
