piston speed
I posted this to the Concours group and thought you guys might enjoy
it as well....
This may be a little off subject but I thought somutha gearheads
might get a kick outta this...I was curious whether I was over
working the KLR by running at 70 mph at 5000 RPM on the street and
made me start thinking about piston speed...Check out this little web
page I created that compares the piston speed for a Connie, KLR650
and a baby Ninja EX250...Pretty interesting, three very different
engine types with very similar piston speeds at redline...I guess
those engineers know what they're talking about after all...
