yet another balancer chain question...

I measured my chain by using the calipers on the side of the chain and measuring from the center of the first pin to the center of the last. Does the measurement spec call for inserting the caliper into the chain and measuring from roller to roller? I just realized that maybe I did it wrong... RM

I just measured the chain again and going over the rollers I got 199.2mm which would be WAY out of spec. You guys who've measured one of these chains, how did you do it? RM

The diagram in the manual shows pin-to-pin. Mark B2 A2 A3

Page 5-21 of the Tengai manual. I assumed the standard KLR manual also had a diagram. Mark B2 A2 A3

Found it. It's pin center to pin center. I got 191.1mm. I'm re- using this chain. Thanks. RM
