Yet to pull the trigger on a Tank Bag, but for those who just need a
little space, I picked up a ATV Handlebar Bag and strapped it to the
backside of the handlebars, makes little contact at full turn.
Looks like a Fanny pack almost, which might also work.
Keep a small things in it in a ziplock bag, and just a few basic
things, depending on what I am doing.
ATV Logic I think is the brand.
Just an idea.

The quality appears good so far and for gassing up, you can unsnap one
of the rear straps, swing the bag out of the way, gas up, and put it back.
