That hose he's referring to is probably the carb overflow. If I recall correctly, the keeper plate for the enricher also holds down the fuel inlet and carb overflow. I guess it's possible to think that this is all one assembly for the enricher system. Yes, study the shop manual. Mark B2 A2

nklr tt movie / guy martin

I was borne 35 miles from the Ferry to the Isle of Man and never went to a TT go figure, wasn't into bikes to much back then, although i remember my dad going on about a certain TT rider called Jeff Duke, quite a legend apparently. I do plan to attend one TT before i hit the pine box so it might have to be sooner than later as 66 is coming up this year. Stu. I included a rather interesting link from I believe 2 summers ago when for awhile it looked like we were going to get a TT in Nova Scotia, in Cape Breton not to far from the Cabot Trail. Can't really remember what sunk it but I would suspect putting on a new TT on public roads would be close to impossible today....Enjoy the evening......Greg http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99673 ________________________________ From: Lourd Baltimore To: dsn_klr650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Mon, March 28, 2011 9:15:34 AM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] NKLR RE: TT Movie / Guy Martin Since we've moved to Lincolnshire (England) I been exposed to some great racing. The beautiful, and spectator-friendly Cadwell Park racing circuit is in the county and the just-renovated Donington Park F1 and motoGP circuit is about an hour away. But the real magic is in the road racing. Unfortunately, there's not much of that around the East Midlands where I am. These are real roads closed off for a day racing on what are more-or-less WSB-spec bikes (as well as other classes). Many racers will race more than one class on the day as well. One of the protagonists of the TT3D movie, Guy Martin, is a local Lincolnshire hero. Great, down-to-earth guy, and just a wee bit eccentric. He still holds a day job as a lorry (truck) mechanic as it's something he enjoys. That's what you see him doing during his cut scenes in the trailer. I won't ruin it for you, but most folks that read the motorcycling press over here were made aware of Guy Martin's "spectacular" 2010 IOMTT result in all it's front-page-spread glory. The trailer for this gives me goosebumps. Hopefully, it'll do for the TT and roadracing what Dust to Glory did for the Baja 1000. Furthermore, the Isle Of Man government is floating the idea for a TT world series. http://www.iomtt.com/News/2011/03/16/Isle-of-Man-TT-world-series-under-consideration-rights-holders-confirm.aspx In one of the last few paragraphs of that article, an opening round in the US is mentioned. My guess is that this will never come to bear, but I'll keep my finger crossed. Josh . I noticed last year my 01 started backfiring when I leave off the throttle, Any thoughts or ideas how to fix it? Thanks Brad
