You made my night!  Thank you sir. That said, I remember looking at the work of others while only having parts sitting in my garage. Stick to it and you'll have your B9 before you know it!

Hi David, thank you for the warm welcome, it may be some time before I even start, but I would like to do it and I need some encouragement and confidence that I could do it, maybe not so much the confidence, but also spare cash to buy all the bits, and clearly there are hundreds of them, and hopefully I can manufacture some as well, I looked through photos on Christmas day and was blown away by some of them, awesome stuff. Hi all,


Here is a VERY low quality video of my build.  It's shot on my iphone and very dumbed down in quality.  A couple of things about the iphone.  First it is unable to clearly capture the green of the chest buttons.  They look grey.  Same thing with his two large dialights.  They are actually red and green.  Lastly, it sometimes captures the neon flashes as swipes.  In real life, the neon does not swipe.  It's solid. 
You can also see a little example in the beginning of the video which shows my my neon flashing when it shouldn't.  But then I got lucky and it stopped acting up for the rest of the video.
I'm really liking the fit of the neon in the Barton torso and can sit and watch him ramble all day!

Bas, The chariot you saw is a brilliant replica.
Here's a secret you can't tell anyone; We're chatting with one of the people who were involved with research and development of that replica chariot to become a club vendor and offer some LIS robot items. He level of accuracy and quality of work is beyond belief. We'd be very fortunate if he is able to come on board with us and offer something. That's all I'm going to say till we find out for sure if he's willing to be a vendor, what among his wide tallents is he willing to share and when it may happen (if ever). Stay tuned!

Just saw your video from before Xmas.
Wow - that's a great looking B9.  Now I'm really inspired to get mine finished - hopefully by this time next year.
Keep up the great work, although it doesn't look like you have much (if anything) left to do.

  Hi all,
Here is a VERY low quality video of my build.  It's shot on my iphone and very dumbed down in quality.  A couple of things about the iphone.  First it is unable to clearly capture the green of the chest buttons.  They look grey.  Same thing with his two large dialights.  They are actually red and green.  Lastly, it sometimes captures the neon flashes as swipes.  In real life, the neon does not swipe.  It's solid.  You can also see a little example in the beginning of the video which shows my my neon flashing when it shouldn't.  But then I got lucky and it stopped acting up for the rest of the video.I'm really liking the fit of the neon in the Barton torso and can sit and watch him ramble all day!Merry Christmas to you all!JeffB9 Robot Image B9 Robot Here is a rough test of my home-built b9 robot. Thank you Bob!  Things left to do:          Figure out why his neon flashes when he s not talking. My dad says he s just thinking, but I don t buy it ;-)          Build and install his power pack. When I do, I will wire it to the CF4 unit to allow for the Aaaaaaaaaah sound when it s pulled and appropriate saying when it s pushed back in.          Using Norman Sockwell parts, upgrade his brain cup, neck bracket and install motor to animate inside bubble.          ????          As Mr. B9 says, A B9 robot is truly never done!    From: B9Builders@yahoogroups.com [mailto:B9Builders@yahoogroups.com]

Subject: [B9Builders] Video of my B9    Hi all,  Here is a VERY low quality video of my build.  It's shot on my iphone and very dumbed down in quality.  A couple of things about the iphone.  First it is unable to clearly capture the green of the chest buttons.  They look grey.  Same thing with his two large dialights.  They are actually red and green.  Lastly, it sometimes captures the neon flashes as swipes.  In real life, the neon does not swipe.  It's solid.  You can also see a little example in the beginning of the video which shows my my neon flashing when it shouldn't.  But then I got lucky and it stopped acting up for the rest of the video.I'm really liking the fit of the neon in the Barton torso and can sit and watch him ramble all day!Merry Christmas to you all!JeffB9 RobotImageB9 Robot Here is a rough test of my home-built b9 robot.
