I noticed that Erics steel tread sections have tiny threaded holes for the plastic side panels to mount onto the steel.
Can anyone tell me what size screws these need to be so I can attach the panels without having to drill?

Bob, Im pretty sure they are 4-40 threads. I would try a tap of that size in a hole to check.

Re: Side Panel Holes in Steel Tread Section
Thanks Dave and Eric.
I'll have to figure out what length to buy that will allow me to mount the panel and not have too much of the head showing...maybe a beveled one?
