Dear Ray and all of you "T" Typers

Mike and Harry Pyle are correct about the 50 watt halogens for lots on night use
. the current drain is about equal to the average output from your generator. I
would suggest the 12v 35/35 halogens as the best bet. They are still over 70%
brighter than the original bulbs with almost the same current drain.

By the way. I make the bulbs for Andrew Brock the Octagon Car Club
and Little British car Co. in Detroit www.lbcarco.com

Dear Carl
I have seen the lovely Esders Roadster re-creation, and i think lights would
have actually spoilt the lines of the car,and if i were forced to put lights
on that car, the only lights i would fix on it are woodlite headlamps.

My vote is for you to go the way of most enlightenment; i.e. go for the TC
lighting with 2 filaments in both lights, unless you intend to be like M.
Esders, who ordered his Bugatti Royale TOTALLY WITHOUT HEADLIGHTS. Seems he
did not intend to drive after dark, lived in the "City of Lights" ([Paris),
and quite possibly thought that headlights would spoil the lines of the
coachwork!! No joke, a re-creation of his Type 41 is in the Schlumpf Museum
in Mulhouse, France--WITHOUT HEADLIGHTS.
Regards,
Carl Fritz
