Safety Fast
I've just received my issue of SF....attached was a suppliers guide and on
the back of that was a picture, presumably in the Abingdon works, show an
engine apparently being put in backward of a chassis with 19" wire wheels!!!
and they were White Side Walls!!!!
Can anyone shed some light on this photograph??

You silly boys! The photo on the back of the trade directory is of an MGA. The engine is being fed in , gearbox first, through the ramp plate. It is a B series, not an XPAG. You thought it was Y-Type, did you not, Terry? Or perhaps you, like me , are too old and going blind! What we both need is a good blast in a T-Type! Paddy.

SAFETY FAST
A bit off the T-ABC mark, but the May 1963 edition of Safety Fast, in the series "Portrait Gallery", detailed a brief 2 page history and technical specifications for the MGTF. If anyone has this edition, I shall be grateful if you can scan the article and email it to me; alternatively contact me offline and I will give you a number to which it can be faxed.
Many thanks in anticipation
