Supercharger
Hi Whitworth Heads,
Just returned from an MG widow's garage. She uncovered her deceased
husband's freshly restored TD for my inspection and comment. Have but one
serious concern.
What appears to be a 1 3/4 inch SU hanging off the back of the XPAG's
Sherrock supercharger, a float bowl is mounted decidedly askew. As in
tilted about 20 or 30 degrees from vertical. Does this not impair the float
action? Please advise. I have no experience with modified XPAGs, only TC
steering systems.

It sure does. You need to find a float bowl off of I believe a TR-3. It
should set level. Other than than that it should be fine. should have an
"RA" needle for that application.

supercharger
Tom I am all for the supercharger. I have found that a judson is more suited for a TD or TF rather than a TC. You will have a problem with clearance on the pulley, belts, radiator etc. Dean Illinois

I fitted one to a P type last year and what a difference. In my opinion, the
best guy to speak to is called Bibby of Supercharger Services. I have no
commercial connection with them except as a very satisfied customer.

Listers,
I have a chance to buy a ARNOTT CENTRIC supercharger described as
basically the same as the Schorrock, a rotary vane type.
Does anyone have any experience with one of these and is it hard/easy to
work on? What about parts?

FWIW, the Blower book has maybe three pages on the Arnott, not terribly
informative, but does have a photo.

Hi friends,
I am a new member of the group and I am driving a TC with no original
engine. The engine is a XPAG block used by Morris. So I think about
puuting a little bit mor power into the car. Does anybody know how
and or where I can get a supercharger. Moss is unable to deliver a
kit, although it still is in the catalogue!? Sorry for my poor english!

Group - I am investigating adding an Eaton M45 to TC7225. I would like to get the input of those who
have dealt with this addition previously. In particular, I am interested in how the M45 was adapted
to the TC - engineering drawings etc, advice, cautions. Any help would be appreciated jim davis
