Just got out of a TC tech session at GOF West. The presenter was Doug Pelton (owner/manager of "From The Frame Up"). It occurs to me that the difference between Moss and From The Frame Up is that when you order from Moss, you talk to a clerk who may not know what a TC even is! Thank you to Doug for dedicating yourself to the TC! There are many of us who really appreciate what you do! I am just fitting a new set of instrument faces and bezels to my speedo and tacko BUT
how do you get the bezels back on to the Bakelite casings ? the old bezels had been broken at the slot on the side apparently when they had been
pried on using a screwdriver or similar implement .

I have an original copy (eighteen pages) of the preliminary instruction booklet for the MG TC.  It's in very good condition but is missing the card that was needed to obtain the actual factory manual.     Anyone interested can contact me.

I had a similar diabolical experience with UPS a couple of years ago. A part arrived damaged, but fortunately I had the presence of mind to keep the packaging which showed quite obviously that it had been dropped from a considerable height en route.
I called UPS who wanted to take the part to their local depot "for examination" and like a fool I agreed. Two days later I got a phone call from the vendor (on the East Coast of the US) asking why I'd sent the part back! A phone call to UPS at this end - to what must be the most obnoxious woman I've ever had the misfortune to engage with, and that's saying something! - got me an earful of abuse and absolute denial that such a magnificent organization as theirs could possibly blamed for anything, ever.
Despite innumerable phone calls (and later letters) to the UPS big-wigs, yielding not one iota of satisfaction nor even the courtesy of reply, the vendor and I sorted it out between ourselves, the upshot being that I paid twice for delivery. The second time was NOT by UPS, you may gather!
UPS? Not on your life, mate, and I continue to curse them from the rooftops!

7may14 hello all, some time ago a member posted the address of a video showing mounting a tc tire using a plastic bag.  i, in my wisdom, saved it, but then, in my absent mindedness, deleted it.  would that someone please post it again. regards,   ed van hoose tc 3783
