On carrying a spare generator: Its a lot easier to carry a belt that
you can drive the water pump with. (just measure the distance and add
a 1/2 inch enough to slip the belt on. It just has to be tight enough
to stay on as the water pump and fan don't take much load.) And, carry
a small battery charger. These cars will run for days on a good
battery charged at 2 amps overnight, especially if you push start, and
don't run at night. I discovered this on the MGB when the front
generator bearing expired in the middle of no where. The air pump
belt worked like a charm, even though I thought for sure it would fly
off it was so loose.

BlankHi Group,
For some reason I lost the Yahoo Window that appeared on the right side of me Outlook Inbox, as a result I don't have access to
the photo's anymore. I have tried all that I know to no avail. Help!

BlankHi Jim Shade,
Please add Stewart Zack to our great list. He owns a TC and has been out of commission for a while with some health issues, but
is going to get the TC out and running again as he is healthy. He lives in Traverse City, Michigan and is a member of our Twin Bay
British Car Club. His E-Mail address is stewzack@charter.net.
He can fill you in and send Walter some pictures of his car.

Hello all;

Anyone out there have a steering shaft or a complete steering box with shaft
that they would sell. In particular I am looking for the shaft that connects
the steering wheel with the worm gear. Please let me know if you have one
you would sell. I am not concerned with condition, I am only concerned with
the spline's where the steering wheel attaches.

Does anyone know if the spline's are the same on a TD/TF? Will a TC steering
hub fit on a TD/TF? If so then I would be interested in a TD/TF steering
shaft.

Contact me off list if you have one you would sell.

Hello all;

Recently there were some Lucas Tripod headlights on EBay. Item number:
290122985575

The seller was a gentleman in Northern Italy. The item did not sell. I
believe his opening bid was too high. After the auction I had some
correspondence with him and the bottom line is he offered to sell the
headlights for $300 US plus the shipping. His estimate for shipping was 44 -
66 euro.

If anyone has any interest in these headlights the seller is Dr. Tsabari
Shahar. His email address is: volucer@tin.it.

All for now.

BlankHi Joe,
I have the jets freed up and bottoming out on the adjusting nut. The car doesn't want to idle very well, so will adjust for
that. The car runs great, but suddenly the idle has changed.
Another problem I've had over the years is there is a hi-pitched whistle coming from the right side of the engine. I always
suspected a pinhole leak in the intake manifold. The noise goes away upon acceleration when, the intake manifold is under vacuum,
but returns when cruising. This noise has never effected the cars performance and the plugs are a perfect light tan color when
inspected. How can I find out where the leak might be.
Anybody got any ideas?

Good morning all;

Anyone out there have a TC water pump with the 6 blade impeller which you
would be willing to sell? Moss has them but is very proud of them. Let me
