have owned the TC since June 2007 having wanted one since I was a kid. It
is quite original in that it does not look like it has ever had a full
restoration, some might say a little scruffy. It has had a relpacement gold seal
engine at some point in the past. The car has been through quite a few owners
not tending to stay longer than a few years. However it is mechanically fit
(my son and I are going to Le Mans next week for a long weekend to watch the
Le Mans Classic in the TC loaded up with camping gear!) and I plan a gentle
rolling restoration getting as much use of the car as possible. The TC was
originally registered in Edinburgh, Scotland and I would welcome any details
of its past history.

I have recently completed the restoration of my 1948 MG TC. It was a total
ground-up nut-and-bolt restoration. Everything works except for the clock on
the rev counter. It is finished in old english white with tan leather for
the interior. I have just completed 500 miles after the restoration.

Jim & Walter,
Only 3 to go to the 900th, which in my view is pretty darned good!
An amazing achievement here by you both. You really did start something, didn't you.
Keep up the good work. I don't contribute very often but I thoroughly enjoy (most of) the contributions.
Thanks again and best wishes
