Head lamp bulbs

Post by Gordon Bruce Lawson » Wed Sep 21, 2005 7:17 am

Don't know if TC's share TD's BPF bulbs or not, however, my car came
out of barn storage with a bulb in each Tripod marked "12V - RIVAL -
60/35 Made in England"
Am told that this was a Lucas model bulb... Am trying to find another
pair (blew one) as they are as good as any modern headlight i have
used...the replacement 45/45 i bought don't provide much safe
lighting... did buy a 50/45 from Brown's Gammon and it is almost as
good, but a different shape...
Anyone heard of or know where i might find the RIVAL..?
