Any way of getting a copy of this list? My TC's body number is
missing as well.

Thanks!

the spreadsheet.

Another request for the list. My TC doesn't appear to have the body plate.

Mark, Steve and Rick

Bert Dive's TC 6316 is listed in my Excel database. How long is it since I
sent you a copy? Maybe I have put it in since then!

Steve TC8795 I can't give you any helpful info on your body number, because
it is in a little black hole of data between TC8773 and 8939.

Rick your body number would have been 7653 A 38nnn where the 38 is the
likely body batch code and where nnn is a bit hazy but would be somewhere between
001 and 200, though it could just possibly be from batch 37. Thus 7653 A
37nnn.

There was no formal arrangement between Dean, Roger and myself except a
common interest and each having access to a substantial source of T-type data. A
common interest did exist however for body numbers, for which there is now a
substantial body of information.
A number of other people have also provided substantial information,
especially on niche sources such as Bill Hentzen's Tickford data and the Salmons
body numbers.

My database was conceived originally as a way of recording all the TABC body
numbers I could find. Dean Jensen has a similar interest. Roger Furneaux was
registrar of the MGCC T-Register (TA/TB/TC/TD/TF)

However now I gather information of all types from whatever MG source I come
across, including this list and have a database of several thousand entries,
but it is by no means comprehensive.

My database is prone to personal errors, simply because I put the data in
and there is no 'quality control' other than that which I can provide by
cross-checking my data. However it seems to stand up to comparison with most other
sources I know of.

I have two new sources of information at the moment which will provide I
suspect several hundred more entries in my database but it will take weeks if
not months to check them out and add in that info I don't already have. Also I
should probably visit all the 'original' sources of my information as these
have probably been substantially updated by now.

However I don't have access to the MGCC T-Register sources of information,
who probably have the most comprehensive set of both original and contemporary
data about our cars and their owners. They are still the place to go to if
you have keen questions, especially about your own vehicle.

Roger Furneaux was the registrar till quite recently, but now that role has
moved on I think. I can't recall for the moment who is in that role now.
