I maintain that if your TABC is in good condition, and the Bishop Cam box is properly set up and maintained, you will not lose control of your car on account of the steering box. I really wonder, on reading this thread, what condtition are the T front ends and steering boxes out there? When I bought my car, it was difficult to keep it in a straight line. Now, after new everything in the front end, it drives nicely. I swear I good put the left front tyre over a farthing at 30 mph on a bumpy road. That's with new tapered wheel bearings, new springs, pins, bushings, ball joints, and all bearings in the BC box. Also with rebuilt and trued wire wheels. -Rick ROSS TAYLOR rossmvt@msn.com> wrote: Hope for the best that you do not hit a semi trailer when out of control ( wear your seat belt ) Ross

Some. I bought the Datsun set-up and just couldn't bring myself to bolt it in. I sold it several years ago through this list. Call it pangs of conscience or empathy for a veteran campaigner but I just couldn't do it. For myself, I don't really care much but why don't the purists react like they do when the dreaded Datsun subject comes up? Come to think of it the same applies to Bob's and Roger's 1/2 shafts and seals etc. Let's face it we're a two-faced bunch aren't we! Cheers all Viv Yahoo!
