TA Details

G'day Lee, and all those of an MPJG persuasion. A quandry: An interstate friend recently contacted me with a request for details of the TA 'slow-running lever', operating on the front carburetter. The correct term according to the parts manual is "Throttle Operating Lever -(Hand)" Part No. A1136/124 He's contacted several other TA owners located near him in an effort to establish the 'correctness' of the lever he intends to install Now with #2828, we have checked four TA's. and found 2 differing lengths of levers. I'm hoping to gain as much response as possible from TA owners on the list in order to gain a sort of consensus measurement! Better still, if there's anyone out there with a guaranteed-original-example of the fitting, this would provide ideal reference. Meanwhile if owners would be kind enough to measure the overall length of the lever fitted to their TA and forward their findings, we would indeed be grateful. I thank you all.
