G`day Jeff, two bob`s worth is now 10p mate, but it does`nt have the same ring somehow does it...I`m not too familiar with the entrails of TF parking lights, how would they differ from this insert. We cannot have anything but a forward facing white light for side/parking lights anyway, and amber for direction indicators, so to put them in the same lamp it`s the bulb that has to be amber. What is the law governing such things in Oz ?....probably a bit more easy going and flexible than here in Blighty ?.. Admittedly you won't have amber lenses but it would look a lot neater than anything else and probably around the same cost. Hiya group, on TC 2259 the flasher light units are Honda motorcycle items, and while the rear`s being at least chromed are not too bad, the front`s are ghastly....However, I`m about to replace the sidelights and see that there is an insert available from the Complete Auotmobilist to have the 21watt amber indicator bulb AND a standard 6watt sidelight bulb in the same lamp....very neat but is it OK for the UK.? .........Tweed TC 2259 --------------------------------- Yahoo! G'day again, I think you've got me there! TF's had/have a double filament globe in the sidelamps with the frosted white lense. This arrangement must have been OK in the early part of the 1950's but then, the world has changed. We're snookered if an amber lens is now needed for the indicators. Sorry to offer false hopes. FWIW I occasionally use my right arm to indicate where I intend going when driving the TC. This is handy, as you can quickly change to a shaken fist, or the finger, depending on the mood of the traffic. The Tickford has trafficators, these days only slightly better than bugger-all. At least they cause mirth but very little indication of my directional intentions. Nice chatting to you 'Bye for now.
