digitaldon finds that $200 US = 155.843 E @ 2310 hrs. EDST (FWIW). Don TC 7993 Gents, the chatter about the Thirty lite has been interesting. I never hooked up the Thirty Lite on the TA but the one on the SA works fine and always startles me when it comes on! I have a NOS Thirty Lite here with a Mazda No.207 bulb (original?) that has never been in a car. It has the bronze base and a switch. Given a price of one for 200 Euros......I am willing to be talked out of it for offers in that equivalent US $......Anyone? Terry in Oakland

Damn! digitaldon went the wrong way. 200 E is indeed $256.644 US @ 2316 hrs. EDST; (mea culpa, Fred & list). As Madhu sez, seems kinda pricey for an "annoyance". Don TC 7993 That's $257 at today's rate. Fred TC1353

The wiring diagram in the Brown book on page 90 has the wiring diagram you need. The one wire goes to the speedometer and the other wire goes to the fog lamp switch. The drawing is listed as illustration #50 John Patterson TC7025 -----Original Message----- From: mg-tabc@yahoogroups.com [mailto:mg-tabc@yahoogroups.com]On Behalf Of Ian Tracey Sent: Tuesday, November 08, 2005 11:50 PM To: mg-tabc@yahoogroups.com Subject: [mg-tabc] 30 MPH warning light Hi Peter, Greetings from downunder. My TC has a 30mph warning light with connection to the speedo terminal.I haven't seen a wiring diagram anywhere that includes this. While looking for the wiring diagram that shows the 30 light (in my Brown Book, it is shown in the figure for the 1948/9 Home model on page 93, not page 90), I again noticed the "R.H.D and L.H.D Export" headings on two of the diagrams. This has always puzzled me. Does anyone know if there was ever an intention to export a left-hand-drive version of the TC? May be intention. But never built a LHD. Russ, I understand RHD and LHD as different versions for traffic on the left side or right side on the road. In both versions the steering wheel is on the right side. There was no TC with steering wheel on the left side. But the fog lamp and horn are swapped for LHD/RHD. The fog lamp is on the right side if the car has been built for traffic on the right side of the road and the fog light is on the left side for traffic on the left side of the road. To my knowledge the 30 MPH warning light was only delivered on domestic (UK) versions. Export versions had no 30 MPH warning light but two map reading lights in stead of only one map reading light. Russ My research agrees with Peter's understanding. In an earlier discussion I presented that there are some factory pictures with fog lamps on the driver's side of the TC. These were the N designated export cars. No need for the over 30 lamp in the U.S. I do not know the year the pictures were taken so I have no idea what the car numbers would have been. Also, I have not found an early TC with a Made in England tag on the battery box even though records exist showing that cars were exported. Greg Hoeft TC1415 "Venerable Vernette"
