For music with the sounds familiar to the TC chauffeur, I'd suggest Spike Jones & His City Slickers. On the other hand, paraphrasing the old army saw regarding a wife, if Abingdon thought you needed a radio in your TC, they would have issued you one and installed it at the factory. -- John S. Rode

But I don't think that even the Brits would be so cold-blooded as to shoot down Glenn Miller (but don't get me talking about Di!) as he was hugely popular over there, as all Yank musicians have been. A bit late on this theme as we had a great electrical Storm last week and I lost my modem. Two years ago the child bride and myself visited the tunnels under Dover castle and they had on sale there a great cd featuring all the songs of the war era , great stuff,play it all the time here in OZ Ross. in Tea Gardens
