Fw: Car Hauling

Post by tx-buckeyes@sbcglobal.net » Wed Mar 02, 2005 6:48 am

Dear Fellow Listers: I have just purchased a basket-case TC located near Youngstown (Cleveland), Ohio and am seeking some leads on getting it transported to Dallas, TX. The car is in pieces, and I would prefer that it be delivered via covered trailer. If you don't mind, please reply to me directly at tx-buckeyes@sbcglobal.net or call me at 214-557-9341. I have used InterCity Lines several times in the past and have been more than pleased, but never for a car in pieces. Info: http://intercitylines.com Call Bob Sellers at (800) 221-3936 x103 and see what he says. Car Hauling

Anyone out there have any recommendations for transporting a non-running LBC (1934 Singer LeMans) from San Francisco to Claremont in southern Cal? Ideally on a platform truck but could be a trailer. An alternative that Terry Sanders and I have toyed with is us taking it down ourselves and looking for someone wishing to deliver a similar size car north. MG is the marque of choice of course! If you're interested let either of us know. This would be a January event. Allan Chalmers, TA, TC, San Francisco [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
