Body plate location

Was the body plate on the TC ever located on the tool box lid? The only reference in TC's Forever book places it n/s scuttle timbers inside the car. Thanks Bob [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Bob, When we replaced the wood on TC0710, the body plate was indeed on the timber at the passenger's left foot, about midway up. If anyone has a photo, I'd certainly appreciate a copy, because I'd like to replace mine in the correct orientation and location (I foolishly forgot to take a photo before removing it, and the original wood is long gone). Cheers from sunny Vancouver Island. See Sherrell page 78 for the location of the body plate.....TA's were the same. Does anybody know if there are new bodyplates for sale? I know my bodynumber from my old wood, but I miss the plate. Maybe somebody has an old one for spare? Greetings, john

John, Do you need a body plate for a TA or a TC? Moss Motors sells reproductions for the TC (part 408-780 @ $16.95). I don't know if the TA used the same tag as the TC. Regards, Charles Hill John van den Boorn wrote:
