Subject: TC suspension spring clamps Hello Undertaking the front and rear suspension rebuilds, early '46 TC. Do the lower/bottom spring clamp plates, the ones with four 5/16 bsf studs protruding have reinforcing plates? The parts lists (Moss, NTG, Doug etc) mentions 4 of them, but nearly all TCs veiwed in UK don't! Except one Aussie import with one, 2 hole plate either side rear. Where are the 4 to go? What is correct please? Regards Richard Evans

Re: FW: TC suspension spring clamps
Richard,
There are 2 ea reinforcing plates on under each front spring mounting bracket for a total of 4 (left and right sides)...if I understood your question correctly.
