I ve been studying a TA CJR3 cutout/fuse for a bit and have a question for any of you guys with prewar electrics. I m specifically trying to determine if the Dynamo Field lead is attached to the F1 or the F2 terminal of the cutout. Blowers TA wiring diagram shows using the F2 terminal but some information I found from the MMM guys shows using F1. In going through the switching of the two resistors for setting the charging rate the only way I can make it work on paper is to use F2 but then at max high charge via the Headlight On position the field fuse is bypassed. If F1 is used then only the Winter or Sidelight On resistor is ever used but passes through the fuse. Hope this make some sense to some of you.
