Lost emails!

hi Guys - I'm hoping that someone out there can help! Somehow - I don't know what I did - the last four days of emails (one page of 50) got deleted!!! And no doubt some were M.G. related!

I went straight to the recyle bin and restored all, but no emails came back...

I'm using W8.1 and there does not appear to be a Restore function.

I tried to get into Thunderbird but that has not been able to access my emails for several months.

Any ideas?
