MG TA TB Luvax shock absorbers

Hi
I am looking for details of the front Luvax Shock absorbers on the TA/TB, in particular the length of the arm and the drop link, a photo of the shock absorber, arm and link would also be much appreciated.

Further to my last, I understand the Shocks on the TA / TB are Luvax 4AR, I have seen some that are marked "Type AR" and some marked "Type 4 RA" can someone advise of the Hi Mike, Listers, Somewhere I have a copy of a factory optional fitting sheet that lists all manner of goodies for a TB. The list has things from cycle guards and alloy bonnet to a cigar lighter, go fast bits and double dipping lights and additional tail lamp etc. The list includes Luvax P6 shocks. I believe Luvax P6 were also fitted to VA s. Someone with more knowledge and information than me should be able to confirm. Please share the shock and arm details if and when you have a definitive answer. I have some shocks with cotter pins holding the arms on and some that are pressed over a spline. I have a 1933 Alvis Speed 20 SB with Luvax shocks system too. Also, it has the self lifting in-built jack system. Incredibly advance during its time! Sent from my iPhone : imak

The LUVAX P6 piston-type shock, same as GIRLING and later LUVAX-GIRLING was a factory option

Over the LUVAX VANE-TYPE standard shock. I sold my VANE-style and converted over to Piston-style,

a much superior shock! Jan/Fairfield, Ohio
