TC block leak

I have a TC block that was sleeved and now leaks water into the oil pan. Has anyone had success in repairing something like this? Perhaps a ceramic liquid that can be poured into the water jackets. Thanks Bob Sent from my iPad

Bob,A good Rad Sealant can work to seal a sleeve leak, I've had regular success in the UK with a product called Barr's Leaks (and one or two failures!). Similar or same doubtless available in the US . Barr's has been around for years so there might be a more modern high tech solution by now. The traditional 30's / 40's solution was to add the white of an egg to the radiator water! Many years ago now (Late 1960s) Walter Stevens, who ran a very MMM / T Type sympathetic garage on the edge of Dartmoor, had a blown up Hillman Imp to fix. It had had a slightly leaking head gasket and the radiator levels dropped over a few days. The lady owner was advised by a friend to add egg white. This worked well for a few more days, then the level dropped again so she added another egg, . . . then a few days later . . . . After about half a dozen eggs the engine was full of omelette and gave up in rather a big way !" There is a product CERAMIC SEAL which is used with a sleeved engine to seal the water leak between block an sleeve. Details are on the bottle, but briefly, add the ceramic seal to the radiator and run the engine hot for a period. Drain the engine and radiator water system and re-fill with coolant. I have used it years ago and no leaks.

I think this is a better product than BARS LEAK which I think is primarily for minor radiator leaks.
