A TC owner, not yet on the forum, asks this question:

I've sent my intake and exhaust manifolds off to be ceramic coated and they are recommending doing so inside and out.  I have no problem with doing that on the exhaust manifold but have some concerns about the intake manifold should the coating not adhere well and perhaps flake off and damage the engine. 

What say chaps?

I'd not put ceramic on the inside of the inlet manifold or the outside. Modern Very High temperature paints are available in the right colours and are perfectly adequate.
