FW: Sad news Dick Knudson

To all, I am forwarding an email I just received from Leesa Knudson. A truly great person in the MG world has been lost . Dick was so dedicated to the MG Marque. So much of what we now take for granted was created by him . He started with a TC and not by design but just through creativity founded an organization that grew way beyond anyone s expectation. I will miss him, and so will anyone in the MG world who knew him.

Hello all -   We wanted to let you know that Dad passed away this morning.  We thank you for the outpouring of support and prayers.  He was an amazing person and touched many lives.  We know he will be missed tremendously.   The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, September 8th at The Church of the Holy Spirit in Schenevus, NY.  Reception to follow at the Oneonta Elks Club.  If you plan to attend the church service, please know that parking is very limited as the church is very small.  Parking on the street would probably be your best option, perhaps even a block or two away.  There will, of course, be a few reserved spots for MG parking only in front of the church.     In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Knudson Churchill Scholarship Trust, 8 Woodston Lane, Palm Coast, FL  32164 or to The Church of the Holy Spirit, Arch Street, Schenevus, NY 12155.       We are doing the best we can to include everyone on our emails but know that we are missing people.  Please feel free to forward this information along as you see fit.     Love,    Leesa, Don, Ann, Erik, Gina and the girls.

Bob, great article. One mistake was the year of the Circuit of Britain. It was in 1990 not 1999. Thanks for bringing the article to the groups attention.
