front hubs - cotterpin holes

Rob, If no one else bites let me know. I have a dandy set of Whitworth thread pitch gauges. Is your tap and die set Whitworth? Michael DeRentz [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I thought most of the threaded fasteners used on the T type body were BSF not the courser Whitworth. Everyone does know that the engine, transmission, and rear axle is metric thread and usually 6x1, 8x1, and 10x1.5. Blake

Blake I think you will find that the rear axle uses BSF threads, not Nuffield Metric. Presumably the hub plug 1/2 X 26 that Bob Grunau cites is British Standard Brass. Regards Dave Dwyer J2, TA, TC
