Aviation Types

Post by LuckyFloridaLin@aol.com » Sun Apr 21, 2002 11:37 am

It constantly amazes me that so many of us aviation types relate so strongly to the MG-T's. Last weekend at the Sebring GOF I saw the ultimate PA/PB: The 1935 Lemans Racing Car driven driven by the lassies for 24 hours. Only one left. I never did get the name of the owner but I did thank him for bringing it to the GOF. What a magnificent sound when the super charger activated and the aroma of castor waffed thru the air Tally Ho! Lucky Thom, That was probably George Shelley's PA #1711 one of the three Dancing Daughter P types. Another is at rest in the Collier collection. They both made appearance at the Mt. Dora GOF a couple of years ago. Bill Tantau NAMMMR
