mg-tabc King Pins

David, I would fit extra kingpin shims on TOP of the axle beam. Use only the brass thrust washer below. You don't want any additional wear surfaces on the load side, so shims go on top. Try for 0.002" -0.005" vertical clearance on the steering knuckle with the axle loaded ( book says 0.004" but I don't think its critical). Regards, Bob Grunau Ray, If I get your drift, these washers fit between the thrust face of the axle eye (i.e. underneath) and the stub axle to compensate for wear?
