Chronometric tach

Hi Whitworth Heads, I love my TC's tach so much that I'm interested in finding a chronometric tach drive I could adapt to the housing in one of my '58 Alfas. Do any of you know of someone who makes such tach drive mechanisms today? For general interest, what is the reduction ratio of the TC's tach drive gear box and are replacements chronometric mechanisms for the MG tach available anywhere? Cheers, Peter

Czech out magazines that cater to British motorbikes, there are several listings of people who repair, supply parts, and even complete units. Ron, who is just about done with the "VDO chrono tach project."

Peter Smiths made a 4 inch competition chronometric tach which had a "tell tale" these came in different RPMs, I have found them at flea markets, those who know what they are get a lot of money for them. Joe curto
