Dear list members
Restoring my TA I come to the next problem.
After restoring chassis and main part of engine, I have to line up the chassis and body with the different body panels. To do that I need most of all the bonnet parts. The left side was delivered with the car when I bought it. The right side was send to me later on by the previous owner,( because it was stored at a garage wich helped him to get his car in order long time ago I could not take it immediately). Now appears that the parcel got lost by sending it.( by PARCEL FORCE, they are useless) The guy is doing the best he can,to trace the parcel, but I doubt that I ever will get it back.
Without this part, I can hardly continue the restoration . The hardest thing is that I discover now,( maybe too late) that a new bonnet is very hard to find.
My question is if nobody knows where I can buy one, or has a second hand for sale, or has anyone any knowledge of someone who can make it( all body shops overhere in Spain refuse to make it, because they have to much work, and can earn more money on an easier way.)
Same problem with the windscreen frame that I'm missing, unless that by paying a lot of money, I believe I can find one.
If someone can help me. please answer me off list.
Harry

Re: [mg-tabc] restoration going on Harry
At the recent MG show at Stoneleigh, I noticed bonnet panels on Andy King's stall; I cant be sure whether they were T A or otherwise but you could give him a try

Re: [mg-tabc] restoration going on I will be ready to be corrected, but I thought it was only the LEFT side which had the dyno bulge that is unique to the TA, and that maybe the right side is same as the TC. Certainly easier to find, I would think. What say, all? REgards, Mark TC8126 Ohio
