Hi i have found a company which will make the faces for our guages in fact they only make faces! These will be litho printed on anodised aluminium ( aluminun to our ex colonial friends) to a high quality standard. The only problem they see is the tabs on some of the faces to crimp over the guage (ameter?) which they might have to make a special tool for. All they want to know is how many are required and the exact colour and design and then they can give a price for each type. I dont know the differences between any of the types fitted even my set restored by John Marks 25 years ago needs new faces and because they were restored are they to original specification? Down to you all but i would expect the price to be low enough to be able to buy a set to keep as spares if there are not too many variations. Red lines are fairly easy base colour is not and they say that even their batches vary slightly. Does anyone know all the differences between the guages?

David, I can help with this but it would be best if we use pictures of originals to avoid long explanations. Perhaps these could be posted at the site for information. I am not set up to do this right now but will get on it. Feel free to contact me off line if you want. Cheers, John TB#0398
